Learn how to write and use outstanding board reports.
The half-day Reporting to the Board course provides senior executives and managers with guidance on the structure and characteristics of good board reports. You will learn how to write and interpret reports. You will also consider how your reports will be used outside the board context by other stakeholders and regulators.
Reports play a critical role in the governance of an organisation. Many famous disasters have occurred due to flawed and incomplete information or even no information at all.

This course is designed for senior executives, managers, new and aspiring directors seeking to improve their skills in preparing and presenting reports to the board. The course will also help directors know what to expect from a good board report and how to work more closely with senior management to obtain accurate and timely information.

What can you expect?
The half-day course is taught in an interactive manner by a facilitator with real-world experience in board reporting.
The course is taught through practical examples so that your understanding will reach beyond theory. Our short courses are delivered face-to-face to a maximum of 24 participants by an experienced facilitator. Interactive in nature, participants are encouraged to learn from each other through sharing personal experiences and the use of real-life case studies.
The cost of this course will be $1,150 ex GST. We are currently taking expression of interest.
This course requires a minimum of 12 people to register by the end of March 2020 for it to go ahead here in Dubbo. There has been significant interest in the program to date so register early to secure your place. The time and money saved instead of traveling to Sydney to complete the course is significant.
